Freda Chazanoff Koff Yaffe passed away January 6, 2009 at the age of 95 in Philadelphia. Freda was the daughter of Samuel and Celia Chazanoff and the granddaughter of Bernard and Mire (Chaiken) Chazanoff. She was born in Philadelphia in 1913. She is survied by her son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Marilyn Koff, two granddaughters, Lauren and Kari and two great grandsons, Corey and Zachary.

Hilda Balinky Meltzer passed away on November 21, 2008. Hilda was married to Milton Meltzer and lived in New York City. She was a writer and in her collection of writings were wonderful stories passed on by her parents about the family life in Ukraine. Milton Meltzer passed away at the age of 94 on September 19, 2009 in New York City. Milton was a historian and an author of non fiction books for young people. He is survived by his two daughters and two grandsons.
Births
A daughter, Paulina Faith, was born on June 4, 2010 to Kari (Koff) and Mike Wilwohl. Paulina is the granddaughter of Marilyn and Howard Koff.
A son, Charles Maurice Yarrow, was born to Dr. Emily (Wong) and Justin Yarrow on January 12, 2009. The grandparents are Dr. Brian and Susan (Stone) Wong. Great Grandparents are the late Joyce and Peter Stone and 2nd Great Grandparents the late Oscar and Freda Leventhal. 3rd Great Grandparents are the late Solomon and Manya (Chazanoff) Sovel.

Melissa Ladenson gave birth to twins Samuel and Emily Ladenson in October. The twins are the grandchildren of the late Elaine Chasanow Ladenson and great grandchildren of the late Morris and Lena Chasanow.
